hey very nice, good idea with the stacks! what kind of tires are those? and what do you think of them? i need new one and am shopping around for some good ones, ill most likely get some good old BFG'S but there $$$ so let me know....off road grip and mpg are my want....looks i dont care about.

tower_ofpower 05-06-2012 12:25 PM

Nitto terra grappler A/T's. They're awesome on pavement and loose dirt, haven't had them in the mud too much to know how well they clean or if they plug up. I've pulled sled with the truck twice and both times they had ridiculous grip. They've worn well and are pretty quiet on the pavement. I'd take these tires over BFG's any day. I know I bought two tires for my moms 98 5.9 and they've worn horribly and plug up. Biggest waste of $500.

the nitto terra grapplers do great in the mud. i had 35x12.50 grapplers and they never got my stuck even half way up the tires in mud still cleaned up well and havent had any issues clogging, also they have a good amount of miles to be put on before they start to wear :tu:

the 90

wileyzreserve 05-08-2012 07:46 AM

thats a mean looking cummins......whats the main use of your 1ton? looks like she is set up for towing.

turbo2332 05-08-2012 09:20 AM

it is set-up but we tow with the 95. the 90 is just a cruizzzer. looks like a bob tail semi from the back, all peterbuilt lights and such.

wileyzreserve 05-08-2012 11:43 AM

turbo2332 05-08-2012 12:37 PM

>>1stgenblowingsmoke- sorry too new to PM yet, but yes my 1990 CTD was a regular cab long box, it was t-boned hard and stricly project was ambition and lots of used junk to resurrect, just had to relocate back cab mounts, a buddy took a rolled ex-cab 93 w-350 and put a regular cab on his, but he was going for longer frame for gin pole truck

good looking truck all around, i like the way they look with out badges, i had a D250 i blacked all out and had real dark tint with out badges, i moved to ft bliss TX and people had no idea what monster i had under the hood, a denny t stage 2 fuel pin and it being a five speed id give them a little idea it was a diesel, 20mph in 3rd dumped smoke like crazy and taught them to not cut me off hahaha :rocking:

Awesome good to hear that. I have a reg cab with a 9 foot flat bed n wanna ext cab so Basicaly I could cut out two feet of the bed n still have almost a full length bed still.

Yes i have 6.5 foot flatbed on mine, not much over hang either, almost could use a short box if i got rid of flatbed, and if i did i would go with an older step side with dual stacks
