wit the stock size turbo you are fine. wouldnt recommend a bunch higher. i would retorque the head bolts just as a precaution. if you were pushing 40lbs on a bigger turbo you would be having more issues. you dont really have the volume of air to
-really...- pop gaskets yet. can and has been done but still prolly fine and dandy.

i hit 52psi a few times with my stock charger

I run 40 on mine without problems. Though for some reason my intercooler boot clamps need to be tightened every couple weeks

AlsoStock gaskets are good for 50 psi if in good shape.

At the bare minimum I'd re-torque to 125ft/lbs but I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable running boost that high with a stock gasket. There is really no way to tell when they'll go before they go. Some let go at 30psi, other have been living with 50+psi for months with no problems.

Lots of people run 50psi on stock hg n bolts. Peobryant I'm not trying to rag on your but the problem with re-torqueing head bolts is they can stretch or even break while others are fine, Basically it's like a woman, unpredictable on which way they are gonna make life miserable. (No offence intended ladies)

I ran 40psi n the PO of mine did for about 3 years before I got it. It all depends on the truck but most hold 50 or close to it. If your going to re-torque head bolts let it cool over night n pull each bolt one a time n oil the threads that helps get em tighter with less strain on the threads.

I agree 100%, but personally I'd take that chance over running 40psi with my stock gasket and bolts. I know the risks involved with each and I think the safer route is a re-torque, but again that's my own personal opinion.

And please, call me Parker. I prefer 1st Genners to call me by my first name, that's why I have it in my signature.

With original 760,xxx mile head gasket and bolts and an HX52 I'm seeing 45 psi with no bad signs yet. It's not that I so much expect to never have trouble with this situation but I thought I'd throw in my experience.

Sorry can't see your sig for some reason. If I was to re-torque mine I thin i'd go the safe route of new bolts. But I may pull the head in a year or so n replace the gasket n run studs just to be on the safe side with the drive pressure.
