What would I need to swap?
 
Hi I'm sure this is a commonly asked question on here but I was just curious cause the oportunity may have presented itself.
Here goes.... I would like to swap out my auto 727 in my 1991 w250 for a 5 speed Gertrag
I know i need a transmission
driveshafts front and rear
bellhousing/ starter
transfer case
cluth pedals
slave cylinder
column and instrument cluster
is there anything else im really forgeting that i really need any help would be glady taken

Other than a new flywheel, I think you've got it covered, now I'm not that into Dodge trucks, so I'm no "Pro", but I think those had primitive ECM/PCM units in them, I have no honest Idea if I am correct, but you MAY have to change that out if it would pose a problem.

I have a Getrag G260 2wd trans that's pending a trade towards an HX35, but I have the flywheel as well, if you need it, let me know, I won't need it since I'm throwing a NV4500 behind mine.

I think it'll be fine just to use the current PCM he may have a SES like n he may not.

OP your best thing to do would be do some research and PM some people who have done the swap and see if they changed the PCM or not. You can keep your stock gauges aswel the only difference is one has the gear indicator but it actually unscrews from the cluster to have a blank plate screwed in place.
