weird issue....

this started after i installed my HID head lights. when i let my truck sit for more than 10-15 minutes i start it and pull the head light switch and every light on the entire dash flashes and goes away. the check engine light comes on, seat belt light, water in fuel light, brake light, wait to start and abe also low fuel light flash on.... what could cause this?? :humm:

Hmmm almost sounds like when you turn the lights on because the HIDS drawn so much power to start it's bringing the battery voltage down so low that the PCM thinks you shut the key off. And then once the HIDS are on the voltage comes back up and the PCM thinks the trucks running again and goes through the normal process of turning the dummy lights on and off like it normally does when you first start the truck. My guess anyways :)
