any dana 71 locker options?

Anyone know what kind of locker options there are out there for the dana 71 axles? im tired of having no traction with the open carrior and would like to be able to have a better take off from a stop instead of spinning tire. worse case ill have to get a set of different axles i think but id like to work with what i have cuz i think i can get better fuel mileage with the 3.07 gears that are in the dana 71 axles. i dont have any experience with working on axles so any help would be great. thanks .

I believe the rear is a Dana M70 and if im right there are Detroit, ARB, powertrax, and some other options... Depends on whether you want an air or electric selectable or one that goes in and out whenever it feels like it (supposedly when you get on the pedal I believe is when they're suppsoed to engage). ARB only makes air selectable lockers and I don't know that there's anyone that would disagree with them being the best in the business, but Detroit (Eaton) also has a substantial reputation... There are also always posi lockers and limited slips... I'd start with a simple google search of "Dana 70 locker" or something. When buying one you have to make sure you buy one that will fit your gear ratio on your Ring and Pinion. Different R&P gear ratios sometimes require different carriers. Also some lockers have more splines for heavier axle shafts and unless you want to replace shafts, make sure you get one that will fit your shafts.
