89 ve pump help

Ive got a 84 dodge quadcab standard with 89 non innercooled cummins the ve pump was leaking bad so i bought video and rebuild kit and rebuilt it myself truck had tons of lowend power before and no topend 80mph topspeed, now it has low bottom and huge topend like 120mph and pulling the only new that i added besides the kit is a old smokey pin and the supposed 1/8th injector pump turn any ideas??

Timing bump will take away from the bottom end and give you more top end. Look into a timing spacer from M&H they help keep your bottom end end give you more top end still, and what Gov spring are you running to do 120. My truck did 85 or so before my 3200 spring now it does over 100 then I run out of speedometer.

The spring is said 385,im a put timming back and see if that helps! Ive also been playing with the adjustment on top of fuel pin and seems like screwing it down flush with the locknut give it more bottom end.
