Factory lift pump

So I just pulled my LP off my 92 it says on the side AC made in England is this original? Plus what is best method of getting old gasket off as it is now a part of the block. Thanks

Plug off the hole, they sell gasket remover, it rubberizes the gasket. Makes it nice and easy to remove. Otherwise an angle grinder with a scotch brite pad will work. Most of the time a nice sharp gasket remover does the trick once you get it started.

Any idea if this is factory pump

tower_ofpower 02-26-2012 09:50 PM

No idea, if it's a diaphragm pump then it's oem. As for if it's been replaced before; hard to tell

Ill second that. My OEM pump said England on it.

Ofi has the piston style pump for 145? Cummins wants 256. Oh crap I already got pump! screw it if the OEM lasted 173000 then the new one will go just as long.
