drill and tap into your down pipeand just add 200 degrees in your head when driving then run your lie into your cab to your gage and find the wire for your running lights and wire that into your gauge so it lights up all pretty like at night time

x2 pre turbo is more accurate. Not that hard just drill off center of the manifold and stick a little magnet in there to get as many shavings out as possible then tap it with a little grease on the tap.
I have both pre and post. Never seen more than 200 difference. But, if you really want to be pit nikky #6 is the hottest due to less air making it to that cylinder. Put your probe in the runner as close to the cylinder head as possible.
