Eaton Fuller 10 Speed?
So im thinking about replacing the Getrag with a 10 speed Eaton Fuller transmission with a divorced Atlas T-Case and replace the 4.10 gears with something more highway like 3.55. Alternatively, a couple of my friends are suggesting an Alison. I see nothing with the Alison, but i prefer a manual over an automatic, and I would think that converting a manual to an automatic is a bit more work as opposed to throwing in another manual along with an air compressor. I plan on building tow rig rather than a 1/4 mile hot rod. What do you guys think? Has the Eaton Fuller swap been done before? Any better ideas?

I really like the thought of having the eaton 10. Hopefully someone will chime up and make the concept more of a reality :)

But IMO that isnt really a big issue. As of now, my truck is mostly stock and my turbo is pushing gratuitous amounts of boost as soon as i hit the gas again after changing gears, but idk. Personal preferance i suppose eh? |

That thing is bad ass. In all honesty i wish had an old 4 door chevy like that.
