Falls on it's face in 2nd gear?
i have a 93 that has some minnor modifications done to it, its a 4 speed automatic that seems to be pretty good and shifts fine. I just installed a 3200 rpm gov spring and turned the fuel screw in to about 1 to 1 1/2 turns from runaway. The truck has an early hx35 that i believe to be off a 96 up 12v and a denny t stage 2 fuel pin. before installing the gov spring and turning fuel screw in i had the star wheel maxed out to the right (1 1/4 turns) and smoke screw is maxed out, and fuel pin was installed, the truck ran much better then stock. after instaling spring and fuel pin turn, the truck launches hard and runs great in 1st gear (more throtle response too) when it hits second gear it seems to fall on its face and doesnt pull like it should, once it shift into 3rd it picks up speed again as it should. i thought the kickdown cable was not properly adjusted and making it shift too early (2200 rpm) so i manually shifted into second (cranking it to 3000) and it still seemed to fall on its face, any ideas?
