Governor Spring swap problems

I recently installed a 3200rpm spring in my truck, the problem that has arose is that the truck will not start. The throttle control on the top of the pump has been indexed to where it was originally, I bleed the lines and reprimed the pump, all the linkage is back the way it was, and there are no spare parts. I have no clue as to why the truck will not start but it is driving me nuts, if anyone has any imput or insight into this problem i would greatly appriciate it

Turn your full fuel screw in some. I've gone from my 366 spring to a 354 spring and every time I've opened up my pump, if the full fuel screw is backed too far out the truck wouldn't start. Not without losing a tooth on the index to maintain full throttle travel.

Good to hear; do you have a pyrometer? Gettin that screw in further than stock can lead to some temp issues

Yes I do I have been running it pretty hard through town and the temp is holding fairly well. The truck runs decent through town I noticed it isnt quite as peppy as it once was and the fuel screw is buried in that pump is there something else i can do to bring the fuel up in it

Does it still have the little collar on the full fuel screw? Do you have a fuel pin? With the 3200 spring you may be pulling your fuel pressure down and thats where you're losing your pep.

The full fuel screw does not have the collar on it. I rotated the stock fuel pin, I imagine it is time to stop being cheap and buy a fuel pin. Once again I appriciate all of the help
