You used to be able to bring your worn tires and have them recapped using a Bandag tread. I called several local dealers and they all laughed at me. They said they only use this process on 19.5" tires and larger. What happened?

Liability! I tried the same thing. I drive an end dump and some of our trailers run 16" tag axle tires that are caps so I asked our rep about capping my truck tires and they didn't straight up say no but due to liability and sue-happy people they wood rather not. Retreads are every bit as good as new tires, those tread caps you see on the side of the road are not always caps, any tire will do that if overheated from running under inflated. The only variable of retreads is the sidewall, you don't know if the PO ran the tires low on air and weakend the sidewall cords. Most of retread companys x-ray the tires tho b4 they retread them

I put these on the back of my work truck about 2 weeks ago (2wd 99 superturd with a psd) and so far, so good (probably about 1k on them so far)

Shenanigans are afoot!

The normal setup, minus the dirt bike

Yup, Guard Dogs.

I want to run the Sentinel a/t on my truck, just need to run the current tires down a little bit more first.

Yea they look light a good tread too. Dont get the howlers whatever you do, my buddy had a set on his 98 gasser and there is a reason they call them howlers. Could barely hear the damn radio over them things.
