Idles a little rougher when cold now
For about the first five minutes when its cold outside its idles rough and then it clears up and runs just fine it didnt use to do this I was thinking maybe an injector but not for sure anyone else have any ideas?

are youadding any winter fuel treatment to it? the diesel now days seems to be like gas, IT SUCKS!

Could also be your KSB doing its thing. Way to find out is to unplug it.

Sounds like the KSB to me, nothing to be concerned about. If it bugs you too much, simply putting a toggle switch to hot wire the KSB once the truck is running has no adverse affect on anything.

Cold idling is very bad your engine. You have incomplete combustion washing down the rings and cylinder walls causing excessive wear. If you must cold idle it that long increase the rpm up to 1100 or so.

I already have my ksb on a toggle switch but should I leave it on for a little bit when its cold or only when I first start it then shut it off?And Nadir are u saying I shouldnt let my truck warm up in the morning?

What about my ksb should I leave it on for a little bit?

Yes, the advanced timing helps cold combustion. That's what it's there for - it's a primitive pollution control device to reduce cold smoke after start-up.
