NEED HELP TRUCK WONT START NO FUEL

My truck has a full tank of diesel fuel! It used to have a auxilairy fuel tank in the bed before I owned it and there's a switch in the cab for it. Well the fuel gauge was on f and I got to messin with the switch because my truck also has a pacbrake system I can't get to work and airbags in the rear I dk how they work either. Well I flicked the switch on it and I didn't notice the fuel gauge or anything other then the truck start to studder and run rough well I was thinkin damn wat now. Well I got out to open the hood and I seen a huge pile of diesel under the truck so I climbed back in and the gauge was on e. So shit wat di d I do? I went back in and flipped the switch a few times but the fuel gauge never came back up and the truck won't start and idk anything about wiring or auxiliary fuel tank that ain't there and I'm in wal mart parkin lot and I'm stuck here. Idk wat I need to check or if there's any tricks? And its pretty dark outside? Thinkin about lighting a match and sayin f it because today ain't the best and this isn't helpin and I don't have ex_erience with electronics or watever made it swap that won't swap back:argh::argh:

Sounds like you just pumped a tank of fuel out on the ground. If the tank switch is not working to put it back to the stock tank you need to find the disconnected line from the old aux tank and somehow plumb it back into the main fuel line up ahead of wherever it's tapped into to get it running temporarily.

OTOH, maybe the tank switch is working and you just need to prime the injectors to get it running again on whatever fuel might be left.

Well if the switch was working why won't my fuel gauge work again? And ok ill tell the mechanic to look for that tomorrow

Maybe because it can't measure the fuel level on the parking lot? :nope:
