steering shaft
Im getting ready to change my steering shaft and put on a Borgeson steering shaft and I was wondering if the factory one has a roll pin it looks like it but I wanted to make sure and does it only push out one direction if thats what it is?

If I remember corectly It does have a roll pin, but I think it can go out either way. Id have to look on monday I left My FSM at work.
I have a one year old Borgeson that cam off my last truck if your looking for one. Regards |
Goes either way, drill the stupid thing out, I think I wound up cutting thru the slip joint on each side of the roll pin to remove it. 20 years of crud makes it a real wench to drive out and I do believe the hammering toasted something in my steering box resulting in a less than desirable firmness. Steers like a car when the slop is taken out.
