h1c question?

ok everybody has heard of the silencer ring. i know they are on the hx35, and i know that on the hc1 it is not removable like the 35. but if a guy was to take it down to a machine shop, could that "cone" so to say be removed and would it hurt anything on the turbo? also if anyone has done this or has a home grown method pics and input would be much appreciated.:pca1:

Not sure i'd have it machined. Get a big ass cone filter and you'll get all the whistle you need

i have a cone filter on the end of my custom intake and it made a big difference but im looking for that whine your hear when a newer truck passes you going down the road. maybe its just time to twin turbo the old girl lol a low spooling turbo is probably gunna make a sick whistle going down the road

I put a he351ve w/cold air and amsoil filter, removed silencer. Sounds like an f-16 with free pump tweaks! Not much exh whistle (unless the vanes are closed) it's mostly intake noise
