Disc Brake Conversion

I have the K20 rotors and calipers, just waiting on my brackets to come in. I was reading an old thread about the conversion and someone brought up the need for a proportioning valve and then the question was never answered. So am I going to need to run one?

Do away with the factory proportioning valve and you'll have to run a bias adjuster to prevent too much application force to the rear calipers. Don't think you'll have any issues after that, I want to do the conversion someday. It'll give me an excuse to spedi sleeve my axle to my wheel seals quit freaking leaking lol

Sounds good, I was thinking about doing that anyways but now I will do it for sure. Hoping I dont have to do to much work rigging brake lines up to those calipers.

Get ya the front brake hoses for the K20, steel lines should be the same size, just run new lines from the Y block on the axle and you're golden. No "rigging"

By same size I mean thread size for the hose and the Y.

Gottcha, they are going on this weekend but just an update. I got the front hoses for the 77 k20 and the female end is a 3/8-24 same as the T on the axle you will have to buy the banjo bolts seperate and they are 7/16-20.
