How to Instal 3200 rpm gov spring in VE pump?

Default How to Instal 3200 rpm gov spring in VE pump?

I was wondering if anyone could give me instructions as to how to instal the gov spring in my rotary pump. i have already installed a denny t stage two fuel pin and now need to install my gov spring. pictures would be nice as well as to where its located, thanks

Den - Dodge CTD 1st Gen - VE Governor Spring Install

My only suggestion is when you get to the part where you need to hook the spring to the shaft, push the shaft out of the pump top, hook the spring to it, then put the shaft back in the pump top. Doing it that way will save so much frustration and and will avoid the potential loss of the top hat and its spring.

A flat head screw driver will wedge the hat in place also.

its under the AFC housing the big 4 bolt thing on the top of the pump
