OEM Mirrors?
I got some power heated mirrors from a 2nd gen that I'm going to put on my first gen, Dose anyone know what wire is for what function and are they 12 volt or is there a drop in voltage?

Anything that runs in these trucks should be 12 volt. And to my knowledge, there was no heated mirror option for 1st gens. You'll probably just have to rig a toggle switch.

94-97 Rams had the power, non heated mirrors

Um how are you going to attach these mirrors I've toyed with the idea as well but I couldn't find a viable and cost effective soluton. Best I came up with was removing the beloved wing window and make a braket to accept the 3rd Gen tow mirrors it just wasn't worth the trouble and I love wing windows

I dont remember who posted it but there was a great write up on just adding a plate to the door that still allowed full use of the vent windows. this was for adding the 3rd gen tow mirror but it is the same idea. I'm sure someone else knows who wrote it.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I think it was on "ramchargercentral.com" I saw it under a sticky for the firstgens

Cumminsforum has a write up on it. And I am about to do the 3rd gen. I'm itching for the ability to see and the awesome look of it lol

This should be the link to a page that shows how to put the mirrors on using that plate by the vent mirrors
