Im going to build my own i just bought plenty of 3 foot sections of 4 inch pipe, a 4 inch Y, and got some metal rod to bend and weld for hangers in the same place as the factory ones and im using the factory bent part that goes over the rear axle to copy and just going to bend my own using a buddies bender and mirrior the one side so its the same and just slappin some 5 inch tips on it. I got about $275 in material just need to do it one day when i get time

I have a 2nd gen turbo back 4" on my '93. I didn't really have to hack it up in any way. I had to use a small piece of flex pipe where the dp and the rest of the system hook together because the angle of the dp wont allow it to line up. I made all the hangers but that was the hardest part.

do you have any pictures of it? i just have a stock system with a muffler delete pipe on it, and its starting to leak like a siv and i dont want to weld it if i am just going to chop it off. im trying to steer away from putting stacks on it. How were the bends over the rear axle? and where does it exit? sorry for all the questions. :argh:

Ill try to get pictures up. The bend over the rear axle is too tall to let it fit perfectly. the top of the bend is about an inch from the bottom of the bed which
causes the exit to sit a little lower than my liking. To me buying the kit and then modifying it was easier and cheaper than making it from scratch, Ive done it both ways :ouch:.

What kit did you use? And is yours a 4x4? Or 2wd I've seen the mbrp kits arnt bad but I can't find any that don't come with a muffler and The suppliers can't take the muffler out.
