turbo,injectors,and squeaking?

alright i just bought 370 marine injectors yesturday and i was wondering if i leave my turbo stock(h1c) is it going to smoke like a freight train? because thats not what i want. and second if it does what is the cheapest most effective turbo upgrade? and finally what would cause my fan belt to squeak on cold mornings when i start up my truck its fairly loud and goes away after about 15 mins of driving it did this last winter and stopped in the spring now we are into fall almost winter and it started up again? any help is very much apriciated thanks guys. -Tanner:pca1:

The previous owner of my 91 put the 370 marines in, bumped the timing, and turned the fuel screw to the collar. If you stayed ahead of your boost with fuel, it would smoke something hideous. If you waited on the turbo, it wasn't bad. Switching to the 16cm2 turbo housing made a big difference there. Adding the 4" exhaust threw everything all out of whack again.

an hx35 or wh1c off a 2nd gen are better turbos. you have a monster exhaust housing so spool time SUCKS and with the dirty 370's your going to smoke. a smaller housing will help but a hx is a 12cm housing way better response. put a 3200 gov spring on it.
