well, I have the motor together, found out my slave cylinder is bad, so I ordered a new one, got in the truck and turned the key (click) the freaking starter is bad, (lmao).

new start date is this weekend, I have pictures up this weekend.


this is what I have done

Head: ported and polished, reworked seats, new valves, seals and 60lbs springs.

block: went with 16.5-1 marine pistons, new main bearings, new rod bearings, new cam bearing, new fuel pump gear, new gear housing and cover, new rear and front seals, and piston style lift pump

turbo: new hx40 turbo.

waiting on the 3 piece manifold to come in (two or three weeks)

I have started her up, she sounds reall ynice and smooth, even the wife said that it sounded better than before (not as loud)

my problem was the pump and the timing, kinda my fault.
I put on the new pump and set advanced it to the head (measuring the distance is a tooth by my truck) and thats when I noticed the gear was cracked, I put on another gear and did not bring the pump back to stock and reset everything, this made the pump 20* off, but that is not why it would not start, the pump itself was not getting fuel to number 4 and 5, so I took the pump off and bought a new pump and she fired right up.
