Default Best oil for 91.5 Auto trans with O/D??

I have a 91.5 Dodge Power Ram 350 single wheel 4x4 with and auto trans with O/D. What's the best oil for the trans plus additive's? And also it takes me forever to get up to speed I can floor it and my motor is reved up but it takes forever to get up to speed. Could this be because of a worn out torque converter? Any idea's would be awsome. Thanks

I run Valvoline ATF+4 full synthetic. I would say a tighter converter would help you alot. Do you have a temp guage. I had my factory converter tightened up and now it seems a lot stronger on takeoff. Rocky

Try some Lucas trans oil I tossed that in my truck and firmed up the shifts after I over worked my auto a couple times.

I was thinkin putting a new BD torque converter and deeper oil pan but you think just having it tightened up would work? Is it very expensive to have done? If not then i'll have it done just to try it and if it dont help like i want it to I might just get the BD. Thanks
