Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but quick question...

Briefly what is involved in fixing the ODO? I haven't pulled apart the dash but I thought it was odd my speedo works but not the ODO.

I am typically a GM guy and the cable and mechanism have to be different than the Dodge.

pull the cluster apart or pull the VSS off and hook a high speed drill up to it and start racking then up!

sounds good i am trying it right now, minus the high speed drill part. i am just using a regular cordless drill, but works good. thanks:jump:

couldnt you just turn the key on and hook a drill to the VSS sensor?

Does the same sensor (vehicle speed sensor) control the odometer and speedometer?

That's odd then. My speedometer works but odometer doesn't.
