electrical draw

i think i have pin-pointed the draw from my truck. i had it on charge today and turned the key to on position to let grid heaters warm up and i heard a very weird noise coming through the speakers, and it wouldnt allow the battery to charge. i unplugged one of the speakers that the previous owner installed and it was able to charge after that. is this my draw? is this a problem anyone has ever had? is it even possible?:humm:

If the previous owner put a radio in it too, there may be an issue with the wiring. If they used electrical tape sparingly the odds increase. The speaker can't be the problem, but it could show the problem (like a light on is the result of a faulty switch) Did you get any results with the amp meter others suggested?

the amp meter showed no draw but the battery goes dead and then it drains more and more each day until so dead that it is near impossble to start it. it wouldnt even power the interior light whe:tu::tu:n i opened the door. the radio is stock but upgraded speakers. there is electrical tape holding wires together and it was a really rigged wiring job. i am going to pay to have all radio wiring redone the right way with new radio. thanks for the help!
