smoke screw
 

is the starwheel screw and the smoke screw to different screws I tightened the screw on the top of the pump and I didn't notice it smoking anymore then normal the spring is out of the afc housing. with that spring out will the smoke screw not effect anything with the spring out. I am just looking for a little smoke to have fun with at school not to piss anyone off. right now it just puffs a lil bit I don't want to mess with the full fuel screw untill i have gauges

what year is your truck? i know that after they came intercooled in 1991.5 the injectors became smaller, which will cause it not to smoke as much as the older ones. i have a 1993 and i am able to get smoke from turning the fuel screw 2 turns in and starwheel 1/2 of a turn.

mine is a 89 non-intercooled the screw i turned was on the top of the afc housing t-25 screw and a 13mm lock nut i turned it all the way in and i never got anymore smoke.
