Blowing fusible links
 

Hey guys my 91 dodge is blowing fusible links and I have no power to the ignition and dash no radio or gauges also put in a new battery and it keeps on blowing the links after replacing it any suggestions

If it is blowing links, you have a direct short to ground somewhere in that circuit. Get a wiring diagram, and start chasing it down.

yes sir i worked on it for several days and without a wire digram it is very difficult so i did the one thing i really hate to do i sent it in to my parents mechanic but i figure as long as he can fix it then its all good but thanks for all th einfo its a huge help

Did the mechanic find the source of the problem?

Ok then...until further notice I will assume the mechanic didn't fix it but still charged for diagnostic time.
