New Injectors

I'm looking at getting new injectors for my truck. Right now I'm leaning towards the DDP Stage 2 (75-100hp)
The thing I'm wondering is since as of now, everythings bone stock. What kind of negative impact could an extra 100hp have on any parts of the truck?
Would it be safe to just put those in? Or will I have to mod anything else? You get the idea.

Thanks :).

sorry just read 93 ram. I would suggest some pump work, google how to's for your VE- type pump and try some doit yourself its fun and cheep on that pump. By the way is it a manual or automatic

its an auto.
And I know all about the do it yourselfs, but any ideas about the injectors?

dont waste the cash for DDPS there are better and cheaper injectors

SDX and LBDP are the ones that I like currently running the LBDP and love them

SDX/Smokem

the LBDP ones are the same price

I've been looking at more and more injectors, and a question arose.
I talked to my mechanic about it and we were both stumped on the issue.
You can buy 40hp 100hp 300hp injectors, etc. What does that mean exactly? Because that cant possibly increase horsepower by 300 right?

Injectors alone will not get you a 300hp increase, so in a way you're right. BUT, those injectors will flow enough fuel to enable you to make another 300hp if you do all the supporting modifications as well. A diesel engine, like a gasoline engine, needs both fuel and air to run. But a diesel is a lean-burn engine, meaning it needs more air per volume than fuel. So, while it's all good and well to increase your fuel volume, in order to really cash in on that fuel, you're going to have to increase your air supply, (i.e. turbo) by more volume than your fuel increase.
Confused?! :s::D

GET GAUGES, Injectors mean fuel Which means heat, get pyro first and then get A-LOT more air. KD93 has it right. I put Giant injectors on a truck and it worked good at 20 lbs of boost, but I just threw money down the tailpipe. I could not get to spool-up, Yes I know it's a whole lot of fun when it spool's, We like to get them off the line.

I would get a good torque converter before anything else. I did this once with POD's and all it did was slip the converter. It got so loose that it wouldn't put a good load on the engine anymore.
