How Long Will It Last

well as of today the truck is now straight piped and now i have plans for an intake by the way does anyone have the part# for a BHAF for like autozone, advanced auto or napa?
Will just turning up my pump and swaping in a 16cm housing effect my tranny in the way of killing it or should wait tell I get a shift kit and torque convertor. Wow...I hate lag!

Has anyone have any experience with TCI torque convertors.

I can get them at cost too since I work for Northwestern and I am not in Ohio at the moment so I will get the filter next week. But let me know what you get them for...That would be appreciated.

gotta love when you turn in an application and he picks up a stack of applications that is as thick as a ream of paper and puts it underneath them......it isnt worth the gas to drive around and look, and the ones advertise for are ones that pay 7$ an hour and are like 20 miles away so you break even everyday working, you dont make anything or you end up owing someone money at the end of the week LOL.....

DieselfreakMI 12-02-2007 07:05 PM

My 1st gen. has a auto with O/D should I be worry about the trans. after just tuning the pump and swapping out the exhaust housing or should I upgrade trans. (like torque convertor and shift kit...maybe valve body before I do anything with the engine

dont be stupid with it and it will last, best thing to do is keep it out of overdrive in town so it isnt bogging......

I fully built tranny is going have to wait until Im out of college and have a real job..college student equals no money..but I was thinking maybe a shift kit or valve body and a torque convertor deeper pan..for now...the previous owner claims that the tranny has 20,000miles on her but no receipt to prove it and the truck has been babied from what I've seen, I will post a pic. as soon as possible.

LOGANSTANFORTH 12-03-2007 04:23 PM

talk to Mr. Hammel then, he is the tranny parts guy, he gets good deals on stuff.....

FAAS fuel system

Does this provide much help for the pre 94?

921stgen 01-23-2009 03:56 PM

It would give you a solid 15 psi instead of a stock 0-7 psi, so more fuel, better filtering, and good air and water separation system.
