Bellhousing cracked
 

some how I managed to crack the bellhousing on my pickup it started at the hole where the throw out fork is at. There is a big chunk missing then three cracks comming off of it. does anybody have an idea what caused this? Is it comon?

I think I figured it out im pretty sure that my clutch came apart and knocked the hole in the bellhousing and its cracking because its weak

hey guys i got my pickup all tore apart and the clutch was fine and i found that one of the bolt hole tabs on the tranny was broke off so i got to find a new tranny housing now but does anybody know if there is an aftermarket bellhousing that is steel instead of alluminum i dont want this to happen again and my tranny guy says that he has seen this before and its not unusual whats everybody elses oppinions on this has anyone else had this problem. all this happened after i turned the pump up more.:pca1:

I laid down lots of power and torque with boosted launches and dumb ass driving and never cracked mine no have I seen any that cracked besides something hitting it

OK well I ordered a new tranny housing today ill put it back together and hope it stays together this time I have pretty bad luck with vehicles if anything unusual could happen it wil happen to me. Thanks for the input
