ksb problem

Im trying to hook up my ksb, I have it on a toogle, I know its getting power to the solinoid but nothing happens. no (click) or rpm change, can i take it apart and clean it (mabey its stuck) or do i need a new one, or is my timming so far ahead i cant tell. has anybody else had this problem. thanks:humm::humm:

well i got it to work but the only way i could tell is to watch the fuel pressure gauge. the surprizing thing is it drops about 2to 4 psi over the whole range. that sounds like alot of fuel for a timming adjustment. im sure that i am missing something here. It didn't seem to change anything,I guess I expected more.

You wont hear a click or anything or see anything from it working. I dont see how it would affect fuel pressure by being on or off.

That lost me too, but sitting in the driveway flipping it of and on it clearly drops. at idle, off its about 10-12 psi when turned on its 8-10 psi @ wot 3 psi ( i am running the piston agg. lift pump) :humm::humm:

IIRC, having it active builds injection pump case pressure.
Shouldn't that affect the fuel inlet pressure, by a change in volume?

Mark.
