Your best bet is call the dodge dealer. Have them check. Dealer connect well have the years that it well fit via the part number.

Is yours intercooled or non-intercooled? 1991 goes either way.
A 205 pump is an intercooled pump.
An intercooled pump won't interchange with a non-intercooled, because the delivery valve assemblies, where the lines attach, are longer on a non-intercooled.

You can interchange the 2 by swapping the line attachements, but be careful you don't lose the parts underneath them in doing so.

Mark.

How did you time this pump if you just found it laying around?

VE pumps are keyed, and so is the pump gear.
Assuming the gear wasn't removed from the timing case and the timing wasn't altered, it should run if properly bled of air and the solenoid works.
All he'd have to do is rotate the pump shaft around to match where the keyway is and put it on.

It only goes on one way... Unless you smash the key, then it goes on in several different ways, most of which won't run right.
