Vacuum Pump trouble in my 1990 D350

I recently bought a 1990 Dodge D350 dually pickup. When I bought it, it had no power steering or brake assist. I took the vacuum pump off yesterday to realize that the accesory drive gear and the shaft were gone and the housing was full of metal. I was wondering if anyone has a spare vacuum pump they would be willing to sell? Or if they know of where i could get one? I NEED HELP!

The shaft and gear were GONE?:nope:
As in physically "Not There" or just "Bad"?

The early vacuum pump main bodies (the part that's broken on yours) are not available as a full assembly, that I have been able to find.
Just the pods are available new/reman.
The power steering pump is pressed to the vacuum pump, on the pre-'91.5 trucks.

The '89-'91 style pump also has a propensity of doing exactly as yours did, due to the fact that they do not have a reliable means of lubrication.
I have an engine that this happened to and it lost the ball bearings into the gear train and broke the cam.
It was ugly.

I normally recommend using a '91.5-'98 Vac./PS pump to replace the earlier version, which involves adding in the oil pressure line and the '91.5-'93 version of the rear injection pump support bracket.
Modifications to the large accelerator bracket are also needed for the conversion.

Mark.
