Double disc clutch

hey guys, i was just going to let all of the first genners know that we dont have to put a grabby clutch in our old beasts. South Bend Clutch makes a dd that is for the NV4500, and they fit very nicely in ours. But there is only two things during instalation that you will come across that will stump you. the first thing is throw out bearing fork. South bend says to use your stock one. and after you finish, you will start it and be super excited and then you will hear a sound that my dad says, "gear growl" but it isnt, its just the stock fork rubbing on the pressure plate. and the guy that i use as my dealer, said just to run it. south bend said to grind the fork down but i did this by myself and was way too damn tired to take the tranny back off and grind it down. and if you are wondering what clutch it is its the 3600 double disc. iv got about 600 miles on mine and i am in love with it!!! its super smooth and engages very nice and i didnt get the hydralic upgrade and its softer than the stock clutch was. IMHO its worth everythin!!! and its the 1 1/4 input shaft size.
Good luck with your clutch selection. i hope this was helpful
