Default Brand New ip

I'm just curious but does anybody know if cummins still sells brand new ve pumps for our trucks and how much they cost.I'm tired of pulling off my ip every two weeks to get warrantied because it wasn't rebuilt right to start with.

I think alot of the problem is that the rebuilder only replaces the broken parts. I guess in order to get a good pump the core would have to have been totally destroyed so that everything internal would be replaced. Am I correct?

I think I may return the pump I have and start over with a better place. The first one lasted 5 miles and had a dead miss and the 2nd ran really strong for 150 miles and now has no power and barely runs when its hot outside. I should have stuck with the original that had metal shavings in the bottom of it,it ran better. BTW these are Bosch reman pumps.
