use hockey pucks. you can drill through them they will never break

 

I just did a ground up restore on a 92 dodge cummins 5 speed i put a 1984 four door dodge gas auto trans on it i got most of my stuff off a website called RockAuto.com they have a lot of stuff on the for a good price.

 

I'm sure they won't break, but they won't have any cushion to them like rubber,even the poly ones cushion some

 

ya thats the only thing that makes me turn away from using the pucks.

 

yeah ive never used them in a truck. just in stupid dune buggy projects for various mounts. just a thought though
