Thanks, I know it's been a while since you posted, but great minds think alike right? Haha I've had these on it for quite a while now, just checked back here today. Saw your post and thought I'd put up a picture. Mickey Thompson Classic III wheels, Interco Trxus MT tires, new springs all around.

Ill tell you what fellas, after seeing those flat beds I'm thinking about converting mine to a Dually and getting a Bradford 4 box flatbed with dump and headache rack. Just gotta convince the wife that I "need" it.

Here is my 92 1st Gen 73876 Miles on the orginal Engine I have stacks for it but am not sure weather or not to put them up what do yall think?

oldfirebird 11-01-2013 07:13 AM

Already have another door on this side. I found a white one at the yard. I have another door, fenders and patch panels for the bed but don't feel ambitious enough to shoot paint so I haven't put them on.http://home.comcast.net/~76firebird1...s/DSC00529.JPG

Grandpa styled DD

I call this ole jewel my Grandpa style daily driver. She was bone stock from 0 to 243k miles. Then I got her out of Michigan and at 245k I tweaked up the pump to the max. Fuel pin turned, smoke screw maxed down, fuel screw all the way in, changed the throttle linkage to the alternate spots and adjusted the throttle stop so I can now fuel till she hit the pump governors. Which is roughly 110 mph. :choochoo:

She is a sleeper with just pump work. I've killed a few different sports cars with it, 7.3 powerstrokes don't stand a chance messing with her. bahaha

sunlitslabs 11-08-2013 11:34 AM

BruceKY good looking truck:tu:

Picked up another truck the other day, 1991.5 W250, 5 speed, flatbed, unmolested but not for long! :rocking: rockers rusted out, few blemishes here and there, decent shape overall, needs some small things. Unknown miles, over 180,000 though.

89CTD 12-13-2013 05:15 PM

Sharp looking truck Legato, any plans for it?

Legato 12-13-2013 05:46 PM

Well I'm over here in central Missouri and she was a trade in from a farmer and he bought it new in 91. He's takin pretty good care of it, all elec on the inside. Pretty much just gonna start from the bottom and work my way up. Rotors, discs, all that good stuff.. This is a whole new world to me so I'm gonna start small with the stuff I know and just replace it all. The sky is the limit for me, though it may take awhile to reach the sky haha. Right now it seems I need to adjust my TPS. Have a post and everything over it.

Sounds like a plan, you'll find these old trucks are pretty simple, lots of good write ups on the internet for most anything you want to do to it :tu: Youll find it very addictive turning wrenches on them too haha. If you haven't yet head up under the user cp tab and fill out your signature when ya get a chance!
