A p-pump conversion is a very involved/expensive swap unless you get a deal on the parts. The timing gear case has to be changed and the cam has to be removed and its tempting to buy a performance cam to put back in= more money. Injectors are different and used pumps are kind of pricey especially if you get it rebuilt. injector lines, piston pump or electric pump, and a lot of little things add up. Its easier and less expensive to find an engine or a whole running truck and swap it into you truck.

If you want a P-Pumped engine, buy a complete engine from a '94-'98 and swap the whole thing in.
