I wonder if thats who makes the 14MM heads for Brian Block. If you have never talked to him I would suggest it. He goes by KTA-Cummins on 1stgen.org.

no KTA is having someone else building them from what ive read over at cumminsforum.com, i REALLY want a 14mm pump LOL, but ive heard great and ive heard horrible about the 14mm, i will just send them my pump and have them build it. i got my F450 to tow with now so i probably wont be using the cummins that much anymore so it will be a race truck now LOL.

You have to keep the fuel preasure up to keep them lubed. I dont think Brian sees below 40PSI at wide open throttle. He also has a huge set of injectors to keep preasure down in the pump.

Brian has always told me not to waste the money on a hotrod VE... He always tells me ur better off with a p pump conversion.

I think a bit of that is because he likes having the baddest VE pump around, though. His truck is a 7,500 pound manual with 235 tires and still runs 13's... :se: I don't think he's made a comment on Rocken-Tech yet. Considering that they're kind-of-like his competition, I would think he'd definitely have said something if they were deficient in anyway. |
when running a 14mm the least you want for injectors are 6x15's to get rid of the fuel and you have to watch the return line as well it takes alot to handle one as not to get it hot and lock one up

Logan yes you would be better off with a P-Pump but any idiot can get over 450 HP with one of them, the VE has a prestige about it. And as far as I am concerned once you P-Pump it you no longer have a true 1st gen... you have a 1.5 Gen... A hybrid if you will. |
So my question is I want to be able to tow whatever and still run a good et at the local strip, without having to worry about reliablity. Which is better a P pump or the ve?
