Default Fuel shutoff solenoid

Well I went to shut my truck off today and it just kept running I checked my plugs going to my solenoid with the key off and they didnt have power so I think my solenoid is bad but I wanted some more opinions thanks.

did you just turn your pump up? it took about 2 hours with my pump turned up before it ripped the plunger in my solenoid and my truck kept running. if so youll either need to buy a new one online from the VW diesel place and they are like 10 dollars and see if it lasts (which it may not) or turn your pump down before you install your new one. also, you can do what a lot of people do and run a choke cable to the mechanical shut off lever on the side of the pump. i did it the last way.
