Don't know of a 'kit'...

It's strictly a DIY.

There is no kit that I know of either but it has been done before. I have two grand wagoneers and hopin to put a 4bt in one of them some day. I have a 3 inch body lift on one of mine and it made for a crap ton more room for the transmission so if you get in a bind for space that might help you.

since I would like to do that in an 89 Grand Wagoneer ..I would be interested if you ever did this swap?

a 4bt would be alot better engine swap and I can help you out with that stuff. a 6bt is a whole lot of engine for a waggy, very heavy too. a 4bt will get 25+ mpg and have tons of power
