Thermostat not opening
I replaced all my coolant hoses, flush, and thermostat. Well... the suckers not opening. It's not in backwards, and the idiot gauge worked, and went up 3/4 of the way. Thats a little more than usuall. I had no heat as well, the radiator wasn't cirrculating, whats up?

have any leaks?
also may be just a worn down radiator |
Double check the coolant level. Might have to remove the t-stat and finish filling the block, then refill the radiator. :tu:

Worn down radiator? Thats a new one for me :) Possible air in the system yet
|
i would say air in the system causing the thermostat not to even see water. did you make sure the little holes for the air to pass are up at the top of the radiator?

Whats' the little holes? I had no leaks, and my radiator is wore out, but it was circulating fine before i flushed and filled it. |
put the tstat in boiling water to verify it opens
