Default Dear Friends

Dear Friends- My friend just bought a 89 with automatic. What can one do to the pump as far as mods? I know everybody froth's for the p7100 but I heard normal people can get some more outts the VE. Also is there something about the pin on front of engine getting loose or coming out? I can't remember and I have a more modern Cummins so I am uneducated. LOL

yes there are many things you can do to make more power on the pump. And that pin is commonly known as the "killer dowel pin" rarely does it wiggle its way out and destroy your engine.
