He was saying he went to install the spring and was having trouble getting the sleeved allen nut off that holds the throttle lever.

the problem was that the allen nut was striped out...

yea... with an 8 in pipe wrench... and we did it when the engine was still nice and hot(the first time the truck was compleatly cold), to add in the heat factor that was discussed, but without the fear of overheating sumthing with a torch. it broke right loose.

Depending on what alot of towing is PODs might not be the best choice. I hope you have some air.

well i put her on the dyno after redoing my throttle linkage, and my engine turned 3418rpm's (which shocked me, bc i didnt think it had a 366 spring). and we bumped the timing roughly 3/16. when i was lighting it up on the rollers she didnt try to overheat. but going down the highway, thats a different story.
