crack slightly a few injector lines at the head, then turn truck over.......you arent getting fuel to the injectors yet, after some fuel oozes out the cracked injector lines tighten and go bro

Is there a bleeder valve on the injector pump?

big bad diesel 416 04-07-2010 11:36 AM

i open them about 1/2-3/4 turn the fuel should really spray out (it dose for me anyway)
then after all 6 have sprayed lock them back down and it should start

hey man id be careful my truck did the same thing this summer and it ran fine for about a week or 2 then it would just die even when i had fuel and it just happened again and again until finaly it my injector pump was burnt up i found it that it was my lift pump that went out and when it kept not getting fuel it slowley roasted the injector pump and soo i replaced the lift pump wich is like 35 dollars and then had to spend 2000 on a new injector pump sooo if it happens agaion stop driving it and go up to your local auto parts store and order the lift pump it will most likley save you a couple grand butt your truck probably wont die again just be careful running it out of petro chemical man :tu:

another way ive done many of times unfortantly got smebody to pull start me it gets your lift pump moveing alot faster than trying to crank it or bleed the injectors but like Levi miller said it will burn your pump up:argh:
