How stock is the intake? i would 86 the K&N and do a BHAF with a 4in inlet to turbo
Dose it Smoke excessively? if yes what color and when?
How many miles?
what tire size?
what mods are done?

i have the rag and 4.10 gears in our 90 and that thing gets 23-28
and it is screaming at 70mph something is not right with that thing!
you should get at least 18-22

k. where do i get a bhaf. i mean i took out my stock air box and put a cold air k&n. i am still using the stock intake pipe.
It smokes alot when im screwing around and lugging it. blackish most of the time. if im rolling thru the gears hard it smokes till the turbo starts catching, then it lightens up to a greyish. it has 167,000 miles on the ol girl. it has 235/85/16 it is a dually.
and i have the starwheel turned all the way down with a bully dog fuel pin and i have tinkered with the fuell power screw but haven't cranked on it alot. my max boost psi is 28-30psi and max e.g.t is 1200 degrees Fahrenheit

still stock injectors and turbo

BHAF....https://www.dieselbombers.com/1st-ge...tml#post451576

for a need intake pipe you will need 2 4in 45* silicone boots and 4 clamps (any sponsor should have these)

as far as the smoke that is normal

i would junk the bully dog pin have herd alot of bad about them and there poor maternal and pieces falling off them and going into the pump

have you done the timing advance?

other than that sounds normal

Loosen the 3 nuts that hold the pump to the timing case. Loosen the bolt that holds the pump to the rear support bracket. Remove the banjo bolt from the AFC housing. Rotate the pump towards the cylinder head.

You will need the "s" wrench for the bottom nut. The nut closest to the engine can be gotten with a long 1/4" extension from in front of the fuel filter. 92DODGE found that a ratchet strap is helpful for moving and holding the pump. Like Boatnik said, the second time it will take 10 minutes

no cons that i know of.....
lower EGTS
increased spool up
better mileage

take a tape and measure from the top of the pump to the head
