have a question. will the back seat out of a 2nd gen extended cab fit in the back of my 93 extended cab very well?

Im not sure how easy it is but i know that people have done it before

it requires custom mounts. do a search on it there was a thread not so long ago that was a very large discussion about it

YES

I have a 2nd gen rear sear. I used the stock mounts that came with the seat. I did however have to open up the top of the seat back and cut about 3 - 4 inches from the frame/weld it back together and get an upholstery shop to sew it back up nice. This is so it will fit nicely under the trim below the back window. I added a sliding seat tracks to the front passenger bucket for extra leg room (had to relocate the seat belt mount forward for comfort. I removed the bulky plastic center storage console and made an oak drink holder. The best leg room for an adult in back is in the middle. I also had to change where the speakers mount.

I will post pics as soon as I can.

Thanks, it's better than jump seats. The old jump seat base makes for a good mechanics seat for working on brakes, etc.
