HELP!
Put 366 spring in, had it rev up on start to 2200, then did some adjusting and wouldn't start, then adjust it to 750, it'll rev to 1000 at first then idle down to 750 after a few seconds, but if you give it throttle past around 1300-1500 it'll rev to 2200 and stay there, what's going on?

Think maybe you clocked the throttle lever on wrong. or maybe bound something up when you dropped it back together

i would take it apart again and check things out

I don't think anything is bound up on the inside. What could be besides the throttle shaft binding? In that case, just taking the throttle lever off would tell you that. I think your indexing is off a tooth. Did you turn the full power screw back to where it was when you pulled it out? If so, your idle shouldn't have been that high and your off on the shaft index. It will do all kinds if crazy stuff if its off a tooth or two. I take a pick and scratch right on one tooth, so it is shiney, then you know exactly where you are, rather than trying to eye ball the slot on the shaft to the marks on the pump.
Try the indexing before taking the pump apart again. And make sure you are ready for runaway while messing around with your pump. My 2 cents. :c: |
any luck getting it right?

Kinda still gota tinker with it, got it somewhat driveable today, going to work on it more tommrow. Gota work on idling and back the fuel screw out, so now you can give it throttle but it holds throttle for alittle bit instead of going straight to idle, so still work to do.
