hx35 housing the same as hx40?

just as the title says. i bought an hx35 housing from a guy who told me they are the exact same as an hx40. is this true?

i don't think so, i thought HX40's had a four inch outlet:humm: ii may be wrong tho

the hx35 exhaust housing will not fit the hx40 but you can make a hybrid hx40 by using the hx40 intake compressor housing and pin wheel with the main body and exhaust housing and pin wheel of the hx35
