shut off solenoid

I think i need injectors. my shut off solenoid went out so i put a new one in it. it only lasted a few hours and it is out again. i have my full fuel cranked to the max with stock injectors. does anybody make a better solenoid or is there anything else i can do untill i can afford injectors

it may take 2,3,4,5,6 shut off solenoids to get a good one

Yes you need to turn your fuel down. When you get on it really hard and let off it is when the tip of the selonoid plunger get tore. Or you can remove it one more time and gut it (remove spring and plunger) and reinstall it. Hook up a pull cable on the manual shutoff on the side of ve. Pic of manual shutoff labled kill switch if you belong to dtr. pump.Message - Dodge Diesel, Diesel Truck Resource Galleries

When you do go to larger injectors, you'll most likely be able to run the modified solenoid again with no problem. :tu:
